Save on Certification Exam Vouchers 2026

Exam vouchers are pre-purchases for certification exams: you pay Udemy, receive a voucher code, and paste it when scheduling the exam on the provider's site — Pearson VUE for AWS and Microsoft, CompTIA/Pearson VUE for CompTIA. Udemy's price isn't tied to the provider's list price: we verified “save 10%” on the Microsoft pages and the Security+/A+/Network+ pages (4 Nov 2026), but AWS vouchers can cost above or below AWS list. Your code lives in My learning → Certifications.

We track 35 official vouchers: 15 CompTIA, 12 AWS and 8 Microsoft. See each provider page for the full per-exam list.

Both are retake safety nets bought with the voucher, but they differ by provider. AWS — Second Chance: fail once, claim it in My learning → Certifications, and Udemy issues a new code (usually within 7 days, valid ≥9 months; verified 2 Nov 2026). Microsoft — Retake Assurance: role-based exams only (not AZ-900/DP-900), one extra attempt under Microsoft's retake policy. CompTIA — a retake option is offered at checkout on eligible pages (the A+ listing we track doesn't include it); check the exact wording and rules at checkout. None is sold separately, each covers one extra attempt, and none is refunded if you pass first try.

Coupons and promo codes never apply to vouchers — but Udemy credits can, and coupons do apply to prep courses. The cheapest path is a discounted prep course + voucher bundle.

Vouchers and their retake add-ons are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire as stated — Udemy vouchers are valid at least 9 months; CompTIA's own store vouchers last 12 months. Expired value is forfeited, and vouchers are only valid in the country of purchase.

Stock is limited and vouchers sell out. Check back in your course's Overview tab regularly — and use the wait to finish the prep course so you're ready the moment stock returns.

Udemy doesn't handle scheduling. Book and manage your exam on the provider's site (AWS/Microsoft via Pearson VUE, CompTIA via its scheduler) and contact them for any scheduling issues.
